The Board of Directors of Gagan Gases Ltd, at its meeting held on 26 July 2025, approved the unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025). Revenue from operations stood at Rs 85.89 lakhs, sharply lower than Rs 134.33 lakhs in the corresponding quarter last year (a decline of about 36%). Total expenses were Rs 92.74 lakhs, leading to a loss before tax of Rs 6.85 lakhs and a net loss of Rs 6.85 lakhs (EPS of Rs -0.15), compared to a small loss of Rs 1.23 lakhs in Q1 FY25. For reference, the company had reported a profit of Rs 11.21 lakhs for the quarter ended 31 March 2025 and Rs 26.65 lakhs for the full FY25. The statutory auditor Dilip K. Neema & Associates issued a clean limited review report with no qualifications. The 39th AGM has been scheduled for 27 September 2025.
The results are weak for shareholders — revenue has fallen sharply year-on-year and the company slipped back into a loss, suggesting continued pressure on the small-cap stock. The clean auditor review provides some comfort on reporting quality, but the absence of profit and shrinking top line are negative near-term signals.
