CRISIL Ratings Limited, as Monitoring Agency, has submitted its quarterly report on IPO proceeds utilization for Gala Precision Engineering Limited. The IPO raised Rs 1,353.40 million in September 2024. As of March 31, 2026, Rs 931.17 million (69%) has been deployed across four objects: Rs 284.25 million for the Tamil Nadu facility, Rs 93.40 million for Wada equipment, Rs 454.30 million fully utilized for debt repayment, and Rs 9.22 million for general corporate purposes. The remaining Rs 422.23 million is parked in fixed deposits with HDFC Bank and Yes Bank. No deviations from stated objects were observed, and all government approvals (pollution board, fire license, factory license, etc.) have been obtained. However, delays in deployment are noted: the prospectus targeted completion by Fiscal 2025, but the timeline has extended into Fiscal 2026, with GCP funds largely untouched (only 3.3% utilized). The company cites the prospectus clause allowing deployment through Fiscal 2027 if needed.
No material concerns for shareholders. The IPO proceeds deployment is proceeding as planned, though slower than originally estimated. Funds are safely deployed in bank FDs while awaiting deployment. The company retains flexibility to deploy remaining funds through 2026-27 per SEBI regulations.
