Galada Finance reported Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025) total income of Rs. 53.71 lakhs, up about 41% from Rs. 38.12 lakhs in the same quarter last year, driven mainly by interest income of Rs. 52.69 lakhs. Profit after tax rose to Rs. 4.02 lakhs from Rs. 3.13 lakhs a year ago (up ~28%), while basic EPS came in at Rs. 0.13 versus Rs. 0.11. The board also discussed issuing Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) as a fund-raising strategy and appointed trustees for the same. Statutory auditors Chandarana & Sanklecha issued an unqualified limited review opinion on the results.
Revenue and profit growth are strong in percentage terms, but the absolute base is small, so the impact on shareholders is modest. The proposed NCD issuance points to plans to expand the lending book; investors should monitor leverage levels and any future dilution since paid-up equity capital rose to Rs. 300 lakhs from Rs. 100 lakhs, indicating a recent share issuance.
