Galaxy Surfactants announced audited Q4 and FY25 results at its May 16, 2025 board meeting, with statutory auditor Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP issuing an unmodified opinion. On a standalone basis, FY25 revenue rose about 9% year-on-year to Rs. 3,001 crore, but profit after tax fell roughly 13% to Rs. 173.8 crore as other expenses jumped sharply. Consolidated performance was healthier, with FY25 revenue up 11% to Rs. 4,224 crore and profit after tax edging up to Rs. 304.9 crore, helped by new subsidiaries in Mexico and Europe. The board recommended a final dividend of Rs. 4 per share, taking the total FY25 payout to Rs. 22 per share (Rs. 18 interim already paid in March plus Rs. 4 final). It also appointed M/s. S.N. Ananthasubramanian & Co as secretarial auditor for five years from FY26 to FY30 and fixed August 12, 2025 as the date for the 39th AGM.
Mixed read for shareholders: top-line growth is steady and the full-year dividend of Rs. 22 per share (220% of face value) is generous, but the standalone profit dip and a pending GIDC land vacation order with a Rs. 73.74 crore carrying value may keep the stock from a sharp re-rating until clarity emerges.
