Galaxy Surfactants reported Q4FY26 revenue of Rs 1,315 crore (up 14.1% YoY) but EBITDA declined 9.5% to Rs 122 crore with margin compressing to 9.3% from 11.7% in Q4FY25. For full year FY26, revenue grew 24.3% to Rs 5,270 crore but EBITDA dropped 2.5% to Rs 497 crore and PAT fell 12.3% to Rs 267 crore. Q4 volumes remained flat YoY as Specialty Care growth (high single-digit) was offset by Performance Surfactants decline. India delivered high single-digit volume growth led by T2-T3 customers and specialty segments, while AMET region saw mid-teens decline due to West Asia geopolitical disruptions impacting logistics and raw materials. Fatty alcohol prices increased to $2,751/MT from $2,588/MT in Q3. Management expects sequential improvement in coming quarters through agile pricing and diversified global footprint.
Margin compression and geopolitical headwinds led to lower profitability despite revenue growth, indicating near-term challenges for shareholders though management remains confident of recovery.
