Gallantt Ispat posted Q1 FY27 standalone revenue of Rs 114,567 lakhs, up 1.6% year on year, but profit after tax fell 28.8% to Rs 12,367 lakhs from Rs 17,379 lakhs year on year. EPS stood at Rs 5.13 versus Rs 7.20. Board approved unaudited results with an unmodified auditor opinion. Statutory auditor Maroti and Associates resigned citing resource and complexity constraints; Singhi and Co (7th largest Indian firm, about 85 years legacy) appointed in their place subject to AGM approval. Amit Jalan named new CFO and KMP effective July 27, 2026.
Q1 profit dropped sharply despite steady revenue; auditor change looks routine with no concerns flagged, but margin pressure is the key story for shareholders.
