Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), a Government of India undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has promoted Cmde Indrajit Dasgupta to the post of Executive Director (ED) effective 23 March 2026. As a result of this elevation, he stepped down from his earlier role as Chief General Manager (Production Services) at GRSE on the same date. Dasgupta brings over 35 years of Indian Navy experience and about three years at GRSE, with qualifications including a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, M.Sc in Defence and Strategic Studies, and a Master of Management Studies. The change is an internal senior management reshuffle and has been disclosed under SEBI Listing Regulations.
