Garuda Construction and Engineering's board approved its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended June 30, 2025). Standalone revenue from operations came in at Rs 12,515.65 lakhs, up sharply from Rs 2,513.33 lakhs in Q1 FY25. Profit before tax rose to Rs 3,742.20 lakhs versus Rs 1,155.78 lakhs a year earlier, and profit after tax jumped to Rs 2,800.88 lakhs from Rs 864.87 lakhs, translating into a basic EPS of Rs 30.1 (vs Rs 11.6 in Q1 FY25). The company also confirmed full utilization of its FY25 IPO net proceeds of Rs 15,967.25 lakhs, with Rs 10,000 lakhs deployed for working capital and the balance for general corporate purposes. Additionally, M/s Mittal Agarwal & Company was appointed as Internal Auditor for FY 2025-26.
The results show a strong year-on-year jump in both revenue and profitability, which is positive for shareholders and could support the stock price in the short term. The clean IPO fund utilization and a new internal auditor are routine governance updates with no negative implication.
