Garware Technical Fibres reported Q4 FY26 consolidated net sales of Rs. 426.4 Cr, slightly down from Rs. 432.5 Cr in Q4FY25. Profit before tax and exceptional items declined to Rs. 91.8 Cr from Rs. 96.8 Cr, while adjusted PAT fell to Rs. 67.7 Cr from Rs. 71.1 Cr. For the full year FY26, net sales were Rs. 1528.8 Cr versus Rs. 1540.1 Cr in FY25, with adjusted PAT declining to Rs. 209.1 Cr from Rs. 231.5 Cr. The CMD noted that H2 performance returned to normal, with Salmon aquaculture and US business order flows stabilizing in Q4. However, the Middle East conflict caused raw material price increases and delayed some consignments. Geo-synthetics business continues strong growth momentum. Management is optimistic about FY27 based on improved aquaculture visibility and resolved US tariff issues.
The company experienced a profit decline year-on-year due to Middle East conflict-related disruptions in raw material costs and shipments. However, management expects recovery in FY27 with normalized business conditions, which may provide a positive signal for shareholders if execution improves.
