GCM Securities reported a standalone loss of ₹26.24 lakhs for Q2FY26 (quarter ended 30 Sept 2025), reversing the ₹27.70 lakhs profit in Q1FY26, mainly because revenue from operations swung to negative ₹46.17 lakhs while other income of ₹47.92 lakhs cushioned total income to just ₹1.75 lakhs. For H1FY26, the company posted a small profit of ₹1.46 lakhs versus a loss of ₹18.30 lakhs in H1FY25. Full-year FY25 had reported a much larger loss of ₹265.94 lakhs. Balance sheet shows equity share capital of ₹1,899.60 lakhs but reserves & surplus remain negative at -₹428.40 lakhs (improved marginally from -₹437.66 lakhs in March 2025). Auditor M/s Maheshwari & Co. issued an unqualified limited review report but flagged an 'Other Matter' stating that balances in loans & advances, trade receivables, trade payables, and secured/unsecured loans are pending confirmation and reconciliation.
The H1FY26 swing to a small profit is encouraging, but the quarterly loss, deeply eroded reserves (-₹428.40 lakhs), and the auditor's note on un-reconciled balances are red flags that investors should monitor closely before drawing conclusions on the stock.
