General Intimation Under Regulation 30 SEBI (LODR) Regulation, 2015 - Incorporation OF Wholly Owned Subsidiary in UAE
Awaiting price reaction for this filing.
Sharanam Infraproject's board has approved setting up a wholly owned subsidiary in Dubai, UAE, to enter the international real estate market. The new arm will focus on land arbitrage — buying strategically located land parcels and reselling them to bigger developers or institutional buyers at modest margins. The company plans to invest around AED 15.5–18 million (roughly ₹35–40 crore) over the next 6–9 months, covering working capital and deal costs. The structure is designed to be asset-light and low-risk, with minimal exposure on the parent's balance sheet. The investment will follow FEMA and RBI rules for overseas direct investment.
This is a first major international expansion for the company and could open a new revenue stream if the land-flipping model works. However, it carries execution and forex risks, and meaningful financial impact will only be visible over the next 6–9 months as capital is deployed.
