Genesys International reported Q1 FY26 (ended June 30, 2025) results with standalone revenue rising about 22% YoY to Rs 6,742 lakhs (from Rs 5,526 lakhs) and standalone PAT at Rs 1,334 lakhs (vs Rs 1,253 lakhs), giving EPS of Rs 3.28. Consolidated revenue grew to Rs 7,087 lakhs (from Rs 5,576 lakhs), but consolidated PAT fell sharply to Rs 698 lakhs from Rs 1,900 lakhs a year ago, dragged by a Rs 640 lakh loss at its Saudi Arabia subsidiary. The statutory auditor (MSKA & Associates) issued an unmodified limited review opinion on both sets of results. The Board also approved the re-appointment of Mr. Sajid Malik as Chairman & Managing Director for another 3 years from September 1, 2025, and a change in the main objects clause of the Memorandum of Association to include aerial survey and aircraft-related activities.
Standalone performance shows healthy top-line growth and steady profits, but the sharp drop in consolidated profit due to overseas subsidiary losses is a watchpoint for investors. The QIP of Rs 110 crore done in May 2025 strengthens the balance sheet to fund the new aerial survey business push under the MD's continued leadership.
