Genesys International reported Q1 FY26 standalone revenue of ₹6,742 lakhs, up about 22% year-on-year, with net profit rising to ₹1,334 lakhs from ₹1,253 lakhs a year ago, pushing standalone EPS to ₹3.28. On a consolidated basis, revenue grew to ₹7,087 lakhs but net profit dropped sharply to ₹698 lakhs (vs ₹1,252 lakhs in Q1 FY25), with EPS falling to ₹1.75 from ₹4.77, partly hit by a loss at a foreign subsidiary. The board also approved the re-appointment of Mr. Sajid Malik as Chairman & Managing Director for three years starting September 1, 2025, subject to shareholder approval. Additionally, the company plans to amend its main object clause to add aerial survey and photography activities using aircrafts under a Non-Scheduled Operator's Permit. The company had earlier raised ₹11,000 lakhs via a QIP in May 2025 by allotting shares at ₹632.32 each.
Strong standalone performance and the continuity of the founder-promoter as CMD is positive, but the steep drop in consolidated profit and EPS may worry investors looking at group-level numbers. The proposed move into aerial survey business signals expansion ambitions but adds execution and capital expenditure risk.
