Genus Power Infrastructures reported very strong Q4FY25 standalone results with revenue more than doubling to Rs. 936.8 crore (up 123% YoY from Rs. 420.1 crore). EBITDA surged 276% to Rs. 208.5 crore, with margins expanding sharply by 905 basis points to 22.3%. Profit after tax jumped over 4x to Rs. 129.3 crore. For full-year FY25, revenue doubled to Rs. 2,442 crore, EBITDA tripled to Rs. 469.9 crore (margin up 797 bps to 19.2%), and PAT rose 297% to Rs. 298.2 crore. The company highlighted a robust order book of about Rs. 30,110 crore net of taxes, spread over 8-10 year concessions, providing strong multi-year revenue visibility. The NCLT also approved the demerger of its Strategic Investment Business into Genus Prime Infra Ltd, with order dated April 24, 2025. Management noted temporary working capital elongation during execution ramp-up but expects normalization.
This is a clearly positive earnings update for shareholders, showing accelerating topline, sharp margin expansion, and strong order book visibility. The demerger approval adds a structural catalyst, though temporary working capital stretch is a minor watchpoint. Overall, results support a constructive view on the stock near-term.
