GIC Housing Finance has filed copies of newspaper advertisements (published on May 17, 2025 in Financial Express and Loksatta) of its audited financial results for FY25, as required under SEBI LODR rules. On a standalone basis, total income for the year stood at ₹21,943 lakhs versus ₹20,391 lakhs in FY24, while net profit after tax rose to ₹15,999 lakhs from ₹15,357 lakhs — about 4% growth. EPS improved to ₹29.74 from ₹28.07. Consolidated net profit was ₹16,042 lakhs (₹15,135 lakhs earlier). The Board has recommended a dividend of ₹4.5 per share (45% on face value of ₹10), subject to shareholder approval at the AGM. An exceptional charge of about ₹1.30 crore was taken for the Loan Origination System (LOS) software being classified as an intangible asset. Debt-equity ratio stood at 4.44x with outstanding debt of around ₹8,727 crore.
Modest positive for shareholders — steady profit growth, consistent dividend payout, and stable asset quality metrics. The results show no major surprises; the exceptional LOS software charge is small relative to overall profits. The filing itself is procedural (newspaper publication compliance) and unlikely to move the stock on its own, but confirms FY25 earnings and the dividend intent.
