GIC Housing Finance has published newspaper notices informing shareholders that equity shares linked to dividends unclaimed for seven straight years starting FY 2018-19 will be moved to the IEPF Authority. Individual notices have been sent to affected shareholders. Shareholders must claim unpaid dividends on or before October 24, 2026, or shares will be transferred to IEPF without further notice. Shares and accrued benefits can later be reclaimed from IEPF by following the prescribed procedure. Notice appeared in Financial Express and Loksatta on June 25, 2026.
Shareholders who have not claimed dividends since FY 2018-19 must act before October 24, 2026 to avoid losing their shares to the IEPF.
