Ichnos Glenmark Innovation (IGI) Announces New Development Candidate, ISB 2301, a First-in-Class Multispecific Immune Cells Activator Targeting Solid Tumors

Glenmark's subsidiary Ichnos Glenmark Innovation (IGI) has announced a new development candidate, ISB 2301, a first-in-class multispecific antibody that activates both T cells and NK cells to target solid tumors. The drug targets three tumor-associated antigens simultaneously to trigger tumor cell death. ISB 2301 was developed using IGI's proprietary BEAT® technology platform and has shown excellent pharmacokinetics, tolerability, and favorable safety in non-human primates. IGI plans to file an Investigational New Drug (IND) application by end of 2026 and begin clinical studies in 2027. The company notes this platform was previously validated when their earlier asset ISB 2001 attracted a collaboration with AbbVie.
