Global Market: ASML raises 2026 outlook as AI boom drives strong earnings, plans capacity expansion

ASML raised its 2026 net revenue outlook to 43-45 billion euros from the prior 36-40 billion euros range, implying about 16% growth at the midpoint driven by sustained AI-related chipmaking investments. For Q2 ended June 30, revenue came in at 9.33 billion euros against consensus of 8.80 billion euros, with net income of 2.92 billion euros versus estimates of 2.62 billion euros, sending shares up 5.7%. The company plans a 30% capacity expansion for EUV lithography systems over the next two years and announced Intel will deploy its next-generation High-NA EUV system for Panther Lake processors.
