Global Market: DBS targets over $774 billion in wealth assets by 2030 amid Asia wealth boom

Singapore-based DBS Group has set a target of over USD 774 billion in wealth assets by 2030, up from about SGD 632 billion reported at end-2025. The bank plans to hire over 600 relationship managers and platform engineers by end-2028, and open 18 new wealth centres across Asia by end-2027. India is among DBS's core markets for this expansion push, alongside Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia and Taiwan.
