Global stocks: UAE markets end higher; IHC gains on India aluminium venture

UAE-listed International Holding Company (IHC) announced plans to invest USD 11.5 billion in an integrated aluminium project in Odisha through a joint venture with Indias Adani Group. Meanwhile, broader UAE markets ended higher with Dubais index up 1.1 percent and Abu Dhabis benchmark up 0.9 percent, supported by softer US jobs data that reduced expectations of an imminent Fed rate hike.
