Globus Spirits has launched TERAI Tequila, a premium tequila brand imported from Mexico's La Huaracha Distillery in Jalisco and bottled in India under the strict supervision of the Consejo Regulador del Tequila (CRT). This makes it the first-ever authentic tequila to be bottled domestically in India. The debut expression is a Blanco (100% Blue Weber Agave), priced at approximately ₹5,815 in Rajasthan and ₹3,600–₹4,500 in Haryana and Goa, subject to state taxes. The launch is part of the company's strategy to expand into the premium and global spirits category, leveraging its existing distribution network and over 30 years of alco-bev experience. Management described it as a move to capture the evolving tastes of urban Indian consumers seeking international, authentic luxury spirits.
