Godavari Biorefineries reported Q4 FY26 Total Income of Rs. 570 Cr, down 3.2% YoY, with EBITDA falling 24.3% to Rs. 92.1 Cr and PAT dropping 26.5% to Rs. 52.9 Cr due to challenging sugar and ethanol industry conditions including elevated feedstock costs. Full Year FY26 Total Income stood at Rs. 2,000.2 Cr vs Rs. 1,886.9 Cr in FY25, while PAT recovered to Rs. 3.5 Cr from a loss of Rs. 23.4 Cr in the prior year. The company achieved its highest-ever cane crushing of 2.5 Mn tonnes during the 2025-26 season and Jivana consumer business revenues crossed Rs. 129 Cr in FY26. Bio-Based Chemicals segment EBITDA declined 29.5% YoY to Rs. 9.5 Cr in Q4, while the Integrated Sugar, Cogeneration & Ethanol segment fell 19.3% to Rs. 83.9 Cr. A Japanese patent was granted for antiviral therapeutics, strengthening the R&D portfolio.
Profitability declined significantly YoY due to industry-wide feedstock cost pressures, though the stock benefits from a recovery from a weak Q3. The company's integrated model and ethanol policy tailwinds offer medium-term support.
