Godavari Drugs reported Q2 FY26 revenue of Rs. 2,664.94 lakhs, up modestly from Rs. 2,608.79 lakhs in Q2 FY25. However, half-year (H1 FY26) revenue fell to Rs. 5,046.07 lakhs from Rs. 5,829.54 lakhs in H1 FY25, a decline of around 13.5%. Net profit for the quarter was Rs. 100.07 lakhs (vs Rs. 108.86 lakhs a year ago), and for the half year it dropped sharply to Rs. 204.13 lakhs from Rs. 271.94 lakhs — a fall of roughly 25%. Profit before tax margin also compressed compared with the year-ago period. The statutory auditor (Ayyadevara & Co.) issued an unmodified limited review report.
Weak half-year performance with shrinking top line and a sharp drop in profit compared to last year may pressure the stock and signal demand or cost-side challenges. For shareholders, the deteriorating year-on-year earnings trend is a negative signal despite the quarterly uptick.
