Godawari Power and Ispat Limited has received Consent to Operate from Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board for its new 6.91 MW Waste Heat Recovery Based Power Plant located at the company's existing Integrated Steel plant in Siltara, Raipur. The plant will utilize waste heat from flue gas generated by the Pellet Plant and Ferro Alloys Division. Trial run and testing phase commenced on 2nd April 2026, with commercial operations expected to begin by end of April 2026.
