Godfrey Phillips India has filed a regulatory submission with BSE and NSE enclosing the newspaper advertisement clipping of its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for Q2 FY26 and H1 FY26 (ended 30 September 2025). The results were approved by the Board on 3 November 2025 and published in Business Standard (English) and Navshakti (Marathi) on 4 November 2025. On a standalone basis, the company reported total income of ₹1,633 crore for the quarter (vs ₹1,625 crore in Q2 FY25) and a net profit of ₹304.44 crore (vs ₹255.49 crore, up ~19% YoY). For H1 FY26, standalone net profit stood at ₹669.42 crore. On a consolidated basis, Q2 FY26 net profit was ₹305 crore and H1 FY26 net profit was ₹661 crore. EPS for Q2 was ₹19.52 (standalone) and ₹19.56 (consolidated). The company recently allotted 10.4 crore bonus shares in a 2:1 ratio (record date 16 September 2025), and prior period EPS figures have been restated accordingly.
Positive quarterly performance with ~19% YoY growth in standalone net profit signals healthy business momentum. However, the H1 net profit shows only marginal growth over the prior year, and the 2:1 bonus issue (already executed) means the share price has been mechanically adjusted — investors should evaluate results on a post-bonus basis. Routine newspaper publication filing itself has no direct price impact.
