Godfrey Phillips India has filed copies of the newspaper advertisement containing the extract of its unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter ended 30 June 2025, published in Business Standard (English) and Navshakti (Marathi) on 5 August 2025. The results were approved at the board meeting on 4 August 2025. On a standalone basis, total income grew to ₹1,80,701 lakhs in Q1 FY26 from ₹1,35,241 lakhs in Q1 FY25, a rise of about 33%. Standalone profit before tax rose to ₹45,517 lakhs (vs ₹32,897 lakhs) and net profit from continuing operations increased to ₹36,498 lakhs (vs ₹27,945 lakhs), a YoY growth of roughly 31%. Discontinued operations reported a loss of ₹8,058 lakhs. Standalone EPS for the quarter stood at ₹10.20 (not annualised), while the full-year FY25 EPS was ₹216.14. Consolidated Q1 FY26 total income was ₹1,81,326 lakhs with a net profit of ₹35,628 lakhs and EPS of ₹68.53.
The filing itself is a routine regulatory newspaper publication of already-disclosed Q1 results, so no new information for the stock. However, the underlying numbers show healthy double-digit YoY growth in revenue and profits, which is a positive signal for shareholders. The drag from discontinued operations is a minor concern but does not offset the strong performance from continuing businesses.
