Godrej Agrovet reported its Q1 FY26 results via an investor presentation. Consolidated revenue grew 11.2% YoY to ₹2,614 Cr, EBITDA rose 19.6% to ₹282 Cr with margins expanding 80 bps to 10.8%, and PAT grew 13% to ₹149 Cr. The Vegetable Oil segment was the standout, with revenue more than doubling (up 113% to ₹458 Cr) and segment result jumping 274% to ₹86 Cr, driven by sharp gains in CPO and PKO realisations. However, Dairy (Creamline) and Poultry (Godrej Foods) businesses saw steep EBITDA declines of 47% and 62% respectively, citing higher milk procurement costs, weather disruptions, and a strategic shift away from live birds. Animal Feed volumes grew but revenue was flat due to lower realisations.
Positive near-term sentiment from the strong consolidated earnings beat and stellar Vegetable Oil performance, though the sharp margin compression in Dairy and Poultry highlights ongoing structural challenges in those segments. Investors will likely focus on whether the commodity-led upside in palm oil is sustainable.
