Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) reported a sharp turnaround for Q4 and full year FY25, with consolidated net profit of ₹1,852.30 crore versus a loss of ₹560.55 crore in FY24. Consolidated revenue grew modestly to ₹14,364.29 crore from ₹14,096.11 crore, while Q4 FY25 consolidated revenue was ₹3,597.95 crore. Standalone FY25 revenue rose to ₹8,910.15 crore with PAT of ₹1,350.52 crore. The Board declared an interim dividend of ₹5 per share (500% on face value of Re. 1) for FY26, with a record date of May 13, 2025 and payment by June 5, 2025. Statutory auditor BSR & Co. LLP issued an unmodified audit opinion. The Board appointed M/s. Nilesh Shah & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for a 5-year term (FY26–FY30), subject to shareholder approval. The 25th AGM is scheduled for August 7, 2025 via video conferencing.
A strong swing back to profits and a ₹5/share dividend are positive signals for shareholders. Exceptional items fell sharply to ₹63.18 crore in FY25 from ₹2,476.86 crore last year, reflecting the end of major Africa restructuring and impairment charges, which should improve investor sentiment.
