The Board of Godrej Industries Limited approved audited financial results (standalone and consolidated) for the quarter and full year ended March 31, 2025, with an unmodified opinion from statutory auditors Kalyaniwalla & Mistry LLP. On a standalone basis, the company swung back to a profit of Rs 189.67 crore in FY25 from a loss of Rs 202.52 crore in FY24, while revenue from operations grew 38% to Rs 4,171.21 crore; Q4 FY25 standalone still showed a narrowed loss of Rs 68.32 crore. On a consolidated basis, which includes subsidiaries Godrej Agrovet, Godrej Properties, Godrej Capital, and associate Godrej Consumer Products, revenue rose 18% to Rs 19,657.41 crore and profit after tax more than tripled to Rs 1,858.24 crore (from Rs 595.16 crore), with Q4 consolidated profit of Rs 416.13 crore versus a loss of Rs 25.34 crore a year ago. Consolidated total assets expanded sharply to Rs 87,944 crore (from Rs 61,548 crore), supported by Rs 12,135 crore of fresh non-current borrowings during the year.
Strong consolidated earnings, more than tripling year-on-year, and a clear standalone turnaround signal improving fundamentals. The clean audit opinion and asset base expansion are positives, though rising debt and negative operating cash flow on a consolidated basis are points to watch.
