Godrej Properties has announced two senior management changes effective over July-August 2025. Zonal CEO for MMR, Mr. Priyansh Kapoor, resigned on July 18, 2025, and was immediately replaced on July 19 by Mr. Amitesh Shah, who was internally promoted from Region Head – MMR 1 (where he led bookings worth over INR 5,100 crore, contributing 65% of FY25 Mumbai Zone bookings). Separately, Chief Operating Officer Mr. Vikas Singhal will resign on July 31, 2025, and will be replaced on August 1 by Mr. Sandeep Navlakhe, an external hire with 34 years of experience, most recently as Chief Project Officer at Adani Airport Holdings, where he oversaw 70 million sq. ft. of construction across seven airports and the 220-acre Dharavi redevelopment. Navlakhe's prior stints include Tata Projects and Lodha Group. Both incoming appointees are not related to any Director of the company.
These are senior management-level changes, not board-level, and the company has appointed ready replacements, suggesting continuity in operations. The new COO brings heavy infrastructure and large-scale execution experience (airports, Parliament building, Dharavi redevelopment), which could strengthen project delivery capabilities, a positive signal for execution-focused investors.
