On August 20, 2025, a 25 MVA power transformer (PTR-1) at the company's solar power plant in Gokak Falls, Karnataka, failed due to a fault in the Y-phase winding on the Low Voltage side. This was triggered after voltage fluctuations from incessant rains caused the 110KV line to trip multiple times, and subsequent tests revealed gas accumulation and winding damage.
