Gokaldas Exports reported consolidated revenue of Rs. 3,98,764 lakhs for FY26, up 3.2% from Rs. 3,86,424 lakhs in FY25. However, profit after tax declined significantly to Rs. 10,013 lakhs from Rs. 15,854 lakhs in the prior year, a drop of about 37%. Basic EPS fell to Rs. 13.71 from Rs. 22.36. The Board also approved increasing corporate guarantee limit for BRFL Textiles Private Limited from Rs. 300 Crores to Rs. 400 Crores. The company holds 19% equity interest in BRFL Textiles through investments worth Rs. 7,199 lakhs and optionally convertible debentures of Rs. 22,500 lakhs. A scheme of amalgamation of BRFL Textiles with the company is pending regulatory approvals. Statutory auditors MSKA & Associates issued unmodified (clean) opinion on both standalone and consolidated financials.
The stock may see negative reaction due to steep PAT decline of 37% despite marginal revenue growth. The increased guarantee exposure to BRFL Textiles adds contingent liability risk for shareholders.
