Gold rate today: MCX gold price above ₹1.53 lakh per 10 grams, silver price jumps over 2% after US-Iran peace deal

MCX gold August futures jumped 2.19% to ₹1,53,829 per 10 grams and MCX silver July futures rose 2.18% to ₹2,51,563 per kg on Monday, tracking a global bullion rally. Spot gold climbed 2.5% to $4,322.87/oz and spot silver surged 3.6% to $70.39/oz after the US and Iran reached a framework agreement to end their war, halt the US blockade of Iran, and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, with the pact set to be signed Friday in Switzerland.
