Gold, silver prices today: Comex gold jumps $73, silver gains $2.55 as traders assess US-Iran peace efforts

Comex gold futures climbed $73 to an intraday high of $4,088 per troy ounce, while silver advanced $2.55 to $59.55, supported by renewed US-Iran ceasefire efforts. Domestically, MCX gold rose ₹1,706 per 10 grams to ₹1,43,094 and MCX silver surged ₹6,100 per kg to ₹2,24,500. Despite the rebound, gold remains about 25 percent below its January peak of nearly $5,600 and silver has fallen over 50 percent from highs above $120, as a stronger Dollar Index at 101.1 and elevated crude prices above $91 limited further upside.
