Gold, Silver Rates Today: MCX gold price rises near ₹1.41 lakh per 10 grams, silver gains

MCX gold for August futures opened higher at around Rs 1,40,949 per 10 grams, while MCX silver for September futures rose to about Rs 2,18,333 per kg, tracking gains in global bullion prices as investors bought at lower levels. Spot gold recovered 0.3% to $4,013.93 per ounce after hitting a two-week low earlier in the session. Bullion sentiment remains capped by expectations of further US Fed rate hikes, with the probability of a September rate hike rising to about 76% from 57% a week ago, while escalating US-Iran tensions lifted crude oil prices.
