Gold, Silver rates today: MCX gold rate slips below ₹1.53 lakh per 10 grams, silver price crashes by ₹6,000 per kg

Gold and silver prices on MCX declined sharply on Thursday, with August gold futures slipping below ₹1.53 lakh per 10 grams to ₹1,52,306 (down ₹1,573 or 1%) and July silver futures falling ₹3,807 or 1.51% to ₹2,48,000 per kg. In international markets, spot gold rose 1.4% to $4,316.42 per ounce after a 1.7% fall on Wednesday, supported by a drop in oil prices following a US-Iran interim agreement that eased inflation expectations.
