Goldiam International reported its highest-ever Q1 revenue of ₹2,357 Mn, up 39% year-on-year and 17% quarter-on-quarter, driven by strong lab-grown diamond (LGD) jewellery exports which now account for 88% of export revenue versus 68% in Q1 FY25. EBITDA rose 38% YoY to ₹471 Mn with margins steady at 20%, while PAT jumped 53% YoY to ₹336 Mn with PAT margin improving to 14.26% from 12.99%. The company has an order book of ₹1,400 Mn (including ₹800 Mn in new export orders for LGD jewellery) to be executed over the next 3-4 months. ORIGEM, its domestic retail brand, now has 6 operational stores in Mumbai and the company plans to open 100-125 stores over the next 24-36 months across Bangalore, Delhi NCR, and Chandigarh. Goldiam remains net debt-free with cash and investments of ₹2,784 Mn and maintains a 50%+ payout policy.
Strong Q1 results with broad-based growth across LGD exports and domestic retail expansion plans signal a positive growth outlook. The robust ₹1,400 Mn order book, debt-free balance sheet with ₹2,784 Mn cash, and commitment to 50%+ shareholder payout make this favourable for existing shareholders. The aggressive ORIGEM store expansion plan provides a visible multi-year growth runway.
