Grasim Industries reported its highest-ever consolidated revenue of Rs. 1,48,478 crore in FY25, with standalone revenue up 22% YoY at Rs. 31,563 crore. The company hit an all-time high market capitalisation of around Rs. 1,95,000 crore, nearing the Rs. 2 lakh crore mark. New venture Birla Opus (paints) became the third-largest player in decorative paints within 6 months of pan-India launch, with 24% installed capacity and a Rs. 10,000 crore near-term revenue target. Birla Pivot (B2B e-commerce) crossed a Rs. 5,500 crore revenue run rate, targeting Rs. 8,500 crore by FY27. UltraTech is set to cross 200 MTPA cement capacity this fiscal, a year ahead of schedule, following acquisitions of India Cements and Kesoram. The Board declared a dividend of Rs. 10 per share, marking 62+ consecutive years of uninterrupted payouts.
The speech reinforces Grasim's strong growth momentum across legacy and new businesses, with multiple multi-year revenue and capacity targets. For shareholders, this signals confidence in continued expansion, though the stock may already reflect much of this optimism given the record market cap.
