Gravita India reported strong FY26 results with 5% volume growth, 10% revenue growth (to Rs 2,375 crore), 12% EBITDA growth, and 21% PAT growth (to Rs 312 crore), while sustaining ~24% ROIC. The company commissioned a 6,000 MTPA lithium-ion battery recycling plant at Mundra and expanded lead recycling capacity to 1,45,100 MTPA. Gravita acquired 99.44% stake in Rashtriya Metal Industries (RMIL) for Rs 561.84 crore, entering the copper recycling segment with RMIL reporting FY26 revenue of Rs 1,040 crore. Vision 2030 targets include 20-25% volume CAGR, 8+ LTPA capacity by FY29, and increasing share of value-added (45-50%) and non-lead businesses (35-40%).
The strong FY26 performance with multi-year targets (Vision 2030) and strategic acquisition in copper signals continued growth momentum. However, Q4 PAT declined 3% YoY, which may cause near-term caution despite the long-term positive outlook and diversification strategy.
