Gravita India reported strong FY25 results with total income rising to Rs. 3,269.98 crores (up ~19.7% from Rs. 2,732.28 crores in FY24) and profit for the year at Rs. 194.13 crores (up ~8.1% from Rs. 179.62 crores). Q4 FY25 was particularly strong with revenue of Rs. 860.29 crores and PAT of Rs. 73.52 crores versus Rs. 46.93 crores in Q4 FY24. The Board declared an interim dividend of Rs. 6.35 per share (317.5% on face value of Rs. 2), totaling Rs. 46.87 crores, with record date May 8, 2025. PwC was appointed as the new internal auditor replacing KPMG whose tenure ended, and Pinchaa & Co. was re-appointed as secretarial auditor for a 5-year term. The company also raised Rs. 1,000 crores via QIP during the year, using Rs. 726.64 crores to repay borrowings and fund capex, which has sharply reduced debt on the balance sheet.
Positive for shareholders — solid earnings growth, attractive dividend yield, and significant deleveraging post the Rs. 1,000 crore QIP. The auditor's qualified opinion on a prior-year treasury share treatment (Rs. 20.67 crore impact, second consecutive year) is a minor governance flag but does not affect current-year reported numbers.
