Gravita India's board approved its audited financial results for Q4 and FY ended March 31, 2025, reporting total income of Rs. 3,269.98 crore (up ~20% from Rs. 2,732.28 crore) and net profit of Rs. 194.13 crore (vs Rs. 179.62 crore in FY24). Q4 FY25 revenue came in at Rs. 860.29 crore, with Q4 profit at Rs. 73.52 crore. The board declared an interim dividend of Rs. 6.35 per share (317.50% on face value of Rs. 2), totalling about Rs. 46.87 crore, with May 8, 2025 as the record date. PwC was appointed as the new internal auditor replacing KPMG, while M/s Pinchaa & Co. was re-appointed as secretarial auditor for 5 years. The balance sheet shows other equity surging to Rs. 1,580.38 crore from Rs. 442.69 crore, driven by a Rs. 1,000 crore QIP raised during the year. The auditor (Walker Chandiok & Co LLP) issued a qualified opinion on a recurring FY24 issue regarding accounting treatment of Rs. 20.67 crore related to the Gravita Employee Welfare Trust treasury share sale, which management disputes.
Strong revenue and profit growth, plus a generous interim dividend, are positive signals for shareholders. The balance sheet has been significantly strengthened by the Rs. 1,000 crore QIP, giving Gravita firepower for growth. However, the recurring qualified audit opinion and a pending Rs. 70.10 crore customs demand are minor overhangs to watch.
