Greaves Cotton has appointed Mr. Swarnendu Jha as Vice President – Energy Solutions effective September 22, 2025. Mr. Jha brings over 26 years of experience in the power generation industry, having previously worked at Kirloskar Oil Engines, Cummins India, Kohler Power Systems, and Caterpillar distributor MAR Al Bahar. As a result of this appointment, Mr. Abhijit Joshi (Head – Marketing and Sales) will now report to Mr. Jha and will no longer fall within the definition of Senior Management Personnel under SEBI Listing Regulations. Mr. Joshi continues in the company in a revised reporting role.
This is an internal restructuring of the Energy Solutions vertical rather than a departure from the company. Shareholders should view it as a leadership reinforcement in Greaves Cotton's energy business, which is a key growth area beyond its traditional engine business.
