Greenlam Industries reported Q4FY26 revenue of INR 857.7 crores, up 25.8% YoY, with full-year FY26 revenue crossing INR 3,000 crores for the first time at INR 3,046.1 crores (18.6% growth). Q4 EBITDA grew 57.1% to INR 107.4 crores with margins expanding 250 bps YoY to 12.5%, driven by cost controls. Net profit for Q4 surged to INR 40.5 crores from INR 1.5 crores in Q4FY25. However, annual PAT declined 18.1% to INR 56.0 crores vs INR 68.3 crores in FY25. Gross margins expanded 80 bps YoY but declined 410 bps sequentially due to raw material price hikes from geopolitical issues. Management stated it passed on the entire raw material price hike to markets from April 2026 onwards. Net debt reduced to INR 940.1 crores from INR 989.1 crores, and working capital days improved by 4 days to 51 days. The new chipboard facility at Naidupeta recorded INR 79.8 crores revenue with QoQ growth of 47.3%.
Strong Q4 recovery with margin expansion is positive, but declining annual PAT and continued losses in Plywood and Chipboard segments remain concerns. Net debt reduction and working capital improvement are encouraging. The raw material price hike pass-through from April 2026 should support margins going forward.
