Groww shares gain 8% on strong Q1 earnings, net profit jumps 94% to Rs 735 crore

Groww reported a strong June quarter with EBITDA rising 101% year-on-year to Rs 971 crore and revenue from operations up 66% at Rs 1,504 crore. Net profit stood at Rs 735 crore, with consolidated total income growing 63.3% YoY on traction in MTF and commodity derivatives. The broking major added 115,000 net clients, retained its lead in direct mutual fund distribution at Rs 1.9 lakh crore AUM, and expanded retail market share in commodity derivatives to 28.6%.
