GTV Engineering's board met on 12 August 2025 and approved the unaudited financial results for Q1 FY26 (quarter ended 30 June 2025). Net sales came in at Rs. 1,650.22 lakhs, down sharply from Rs. 3,268.03 lakhs in the same quarter last year. Profit after tax fell to Rs. 208.47 lakhs versus Rs. 736.97 lakhs year-on-year, with EPS at Rs. 6.67. The board also reappointed Mr. Rahul Gupta as Independent Director for a second five-year term, appointed M/s KMS & Associates as Secretarial Auditor for five years (FY26–FY30), and named Mr. Virendra Rahul as Internal Auditor for FY26. All auditor and director appointments remain subject to shareholder approval at the AGM.
The steep year-on-year drop in both revenue and profit in Q1 FY26 is a red flag for shareholders and may put short-term pressure on the stock. The reappointment of the independent director and new auditor appointments are routine governance items and unlikely to move the share price on their own.
