GNFC has informed the exchanges about a communication sent to shareholders regarding TDS on the dividend for FY 2024-25. The Board of Directors, at their meeting on May 23, 2025, has recommended a dividend of ₹18 per equity share (180% on face value of ₹10) for the financial year ended March 31, 2025, subject to approval at the 49th AGM. For resident shareholders, TDS will be deducted at 10% if a valid PAN is registered, and at 20% if not. Eligible senior citizens and individuals can submit Form 15H/15G to claim nil deduction, while non-resident shareholders will face 20% TDS with possible DTAA benefits. Shareholders must submit all required documents to the RTA (KFin Technologies) by 5:00 PM on July 31, 2025, after which no changes to TDS rates will be entertained.
Shareholders need to ensure their PAN, bank, and residential details are updated with their DP or RTA by July 31, 2025, to avoid higher TDS deduction. Those eligible for nil or lower TDS must submit the relevant forms on time to optimize their tax outflow on the upcoming dividend.
