GSFC reported its FY 2024-25 results, with total revenue growing 6% year-on-year to Rs 9,742 crore from Rs 9,308 crore, driven mainly by the fertilizer segment. Profit after tax rose to Rs 573 crore from Rs 524 crore, while operating EBITDA improved sharply to Rs 629 crore from Rs 482 crore, lifting EBITDA margin to 6.67% from 5.40%. In Q4 alone, revenue stood at Rs 1,963 crore with PAT of Rs 58 crore, recovering from a weak Q3. The fertilizer segment posted 9% revenue growth (Rs 7,227 crore) on 4% volume increase, though industrial products revenue dipped 5% to Rs 118 crore lower. The company remains long-term debt-free with a net worth of Rs 8,154 crore and is targeting about 4.5 lakh MT of fertilizer sales in Q1 FY26, supported by a 25% hike in government nutrient-based subsidy rates for DAP and NPK.
Steady revenue and profit growth, margin expansion, and a debt-free balance sheet signal operational strength. A favourable subsidy hike and monsoon outlook provide near-term tailwinds, while ongoing capex and Nylon-66 diversification offer long-term growth visibility, likely supporting positive investor sentiment.
