GSFC has sent reminder letters (dated 20 May 2026) to shareholders whose dividends have remained unpaid/ unclaimed for seven consecutive years (FY 2018-19 to FY 2024-25), requesting them to claim the amount before transfer to IEPF. The letters were dispatched via Speed Post as confirmed by the company's R&T agent, MUFG Intime India Private Limited. Shareholders have until 31 August 2026 to claim, failing which both the unclaimed dividend and corresponding equity shares will be transferred to the IEPF Authority. SEBI has also mandated that outstanding dividend payments for physical shareholders will be credited only if the folio is KYC compliant.
No material impact on financials. This is a routine compliance disclosure; shareholders who fail to respond will lose voting rights on transferred shares and must go through a multi-step IEPF claim process to recover funds.
