Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Ltd reported standalone FY26 revenue of Rs. 4,35,808 lakhs, up 7% from Rs. 4,07,291 lakhs in FY25. Standalone PAT grew 31.7% to Rs. 2,084 lakhs from Rs. 1,582 lakhs, with EPS at Rs. 2.84 vs Rs. 2.15. However, consolidated results showed a net loss of Rs. 241 lakhs due to Rs. 2,325 lakhs share of loss from JV GACL-NALCO (which had accumulated losses of Rs. 63,330.82 lakhs). The Board recommended dividend of Rs. 17.70 per share (177%) and approved a Rs. 67 crore investment for a 5000 TPA High Purity Grade Hydrogen Peroxide plant at Dahej for semiconductor and solar applications, expected to generate Rs. 42 crore annual revenue. Auditors issued unmodified opinion with emphasis on MCA-sanctioned amalgamation scheme.
Standalone performance is strong with 32% PAT growth, but the JV losses continue to weigh on consolidated results. The new H2O2 plant signals strategic expansion into high-value electronics segments. Dividend declaration is positive for shareholders.
