Gujarat Ambuja Exports reported its audited standalone and consolidated results for Q4 FY25 and the full year ended March 31, 2025. Standalone revenue from operations fell to ₹1,266.62 Cr in Q4 FY25 (vs ₹1,346.44 Cr in Q4 FY24) and for the full year declined to ₹4,612.58 Cr from ₹4,926.93 Cr in FY24, a drop of about 6%. Net profit for the year fell sharply to ₹250.82 Cr from ₹345.92 Cr, a decline of roughly 27%, while Q4 net profit stood at ₹32.69 Cr versus ₹91.40 Cr a year ago. The board recommended a final dividend of ₹0.25 per share (25%) subject to shareholder approval. The company also acquired the remaining 25% stake in Maiz Citchem Limited for ₹5 Cr, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary. The statutory auditor issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the results.
The results show a meaningful slowdown in both revenue and profitability compared to the previous year, with margins under pressure, which could weigh on short-term sentiment. However, the company maintained positive operating cash flows of ₹349 Cr and declared a dividend, offering some support to shareholders. The Maiz Citchem acquisition consolidates a subsidiary but is small in size.
